China and North Korea reaffirm ties

Chinese President Hu Jintao met with North Korea's Workers' Party international relations chief, Kim Yong-il, at the Great Hall of the People in the heart of Beijing.
 
During their meeting Hu Jintao reiterated his government's desire to maintain and further develop strong relations with North Korea and sent his congratulations to North Korea's young new leader Kim Jong-un on his assuming the title of Workers' Party first secretary.
 
"We will carry on this tradition ... boost strategic communication and co-ordination on key international issues and work for peace and stability on the Korean peninsula,"Hu said.
 
Hu also pointed out that "continuing to consolidate and development Chinese-North Korean friendship and cooperation" were "firm and steadfast policies of his government and party."
 
The Korean Worker's Party representative mentioned that "continuing to develop friendship and cooperation between our two parties and two countries are part of the inherited teachings of Chairman Kim Il-sung and General Secretary Kim Jong-il." "It is a firm and unshakable position of the Korean Worker's Party," he added.

εχω την άποψη οτι η Κίνα θα προσγειώσει τουςνέους ηγέτες της Β.Κορέας στην ειρηνική συνύπαρξη στην περιοχή.
