Clean sweep in Potomac primaries for Obama and McCain

Barack Obama has extended his winning streak in the race to the White House. Obama won primaries in Maryland, Virginia and the District of Columbia erasing Hillary Clinton's delegate lead in the Democratic presidential race. Tuesday's results give Obama eight consecutive contest victories. Clinton's deputy campaign manager, Mike Henry, has reportedly stepped down following the setback. This comes only one day after Clinton's campaign manager was replaced. On the Republican side, John McCain also managed a clean sweep over rival Mike Huckabee in Tuesday's primaries, albeit with a smaller margin than Obama.
